SO, today when we were in theatre doing nothing for four hours, I wrote a list of the most kickass and memorable things Taylor Hicks has ever done -
thus the picspam (or as I like to call it HICKS SPAM!)
LET'S GET SOME PICS AND VIDS IN THIS BITCH!
Oh yeah, and foul language SHALL AND WILL be used, mofos!
1. When Taylor Hicks was born - Oct. 7, 1976 at 3:30 am

Ok, um seriously? Looking back on it, he had like...one of the cutest auditions ever. He was like, "I'm winning this bitch - so you all can leave." He came. He saw. He freaking CONQURED!
I don't care who you are - that is supa fly. Although, now the world finally knows how much I hate some of Taylor Hicks' shirts.

For real ya'll, if you guys don't listen to some of his earlier live tracks....you are so missing out. There are some great moments in there, i.e. "This one's for Jessica" and "Don't ever fuck with anyone's dog and don't ever date a musician!"
Ok, I know he's not in fifth grade in a lot of these pictures - but c'mon, Taylor Hicks was the cutest little thing in the world. And when I read that story about being stood up by that girl at the mini golf course, I "awww'd" myself into an adorable seizure. SRLSY!? And I love his little Taylor Hicks' smile in that second photo. Sidenote: Why in God's green earth is he so dang tan in all of these?!
6. Harmonica Mile
EAT IT SIMON! "Whoppee" was pretty funny, though. I just think that's the coolest and bravest thing anyone has ever done at that show. I keep thinking, what if they said no? He would look like a total jackass on TV. But no, he was confident in getting in that he pulled that shit! On another note; Chris Sligh walked in and said, "Now...you're probably wondering why I called this meeting." and that's when I was like Taylor Hicks > Chris Sligh.
OH! And I love the fact Kellie Pickler is in that.

I swear to God this is my last Hollywood Week post. Sorry, but that was a really good week. I especially love these screen caps. He's so scared and yet, so relieved
I don't care who you are; if you start anything in a bunny suit, you already have my vote. I hate to be so un-original, but really this night was the night I was like, "Hm....I think I'm voting for Taylor Hicks the rest of my life!"
Also: Did you guys see how animated he was as the Easter Bunny?! He was talking with his arms/hands so much!
'Nuff said. JSYK - that clip of Randy saying, "But dude...the dancing was...." is from this episode. Of course we all know that, but I'm pretty proud one of the most overused clips in AI history is because of our man!
11. Everytime Taylor Was Safe on Elimination Night
I think a true American Idol, is one who is never in the bottom aka Taylor Hicks. I could rant about this for days; but America...if you love your Chris Daughtry so much, why was he in the bottom so many times? ZIIING!
But yeah, everytime they said, "Taylor...you are safe." I was like, "CALLED IT!" but deep down inside there was still that little bit of anticipation in me so on the inside, I was like, "Oh thank the Lord!"
I have no idea what's going on with the finger pointing, so don't even ask.
But yeah, can we just talk about the outfit here? The shirt...is excellent. The jeans are great. Actually, I love when Taylor Hicks is all casual in jeans and t-shirt (a shirt that doesn't suck). AND THOSE SHOES! I just noticed that these are blue boots (bowling shoes? tba) with pink laces.
This is a good example of one of Taylor's shirts that I wouldn't mind going Farenheit 451 on and burning it.
Anyways, I love the changing of the songs. Because I was like, "Oh good he's doing We Are the Champions, that's fine" but I kinda hoped he would do a less familiar song. AND OMG LYKE, HE CHOSE MY SECOND FAV. SONG BY QUEEN!!! If he did "Good All Fashioned Lover Boy" I would die, like...literarly die. But I only fangirl died because "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" is only my second favorite Queen song.
14. OH, and did I mention that TAYLOR HICKS PERFORMED WITH QUEEN?!

Oh, so much fun. I think it's funny that Simon made that little 'drunk Uncle at a wedding dancing' joke, because now we have the infamous Paula (who's been allegedly drunk on the show, believe what you want) dancing and we all now she and Simon are totally having an idol affair for the records.

Do I prefer Taylor Hicks' version to Otis Redding's? Well, I don't think that would be fair to say....(*cough* YES *cough*)

21. Elvis Week
Hell, Elvis Week in general was good. That's when I realized how awesome our season 5 was. Didn't everyone in the top ten get some sort of a record deal? Not only that, didn't almost everone break the top twenty on the billboard charts at one point or another? Anyways, that was a good week for Idol. Best week ever.
Did anyone else here totally lose it when Taylor sang "Burning Love"?
BECAUSE I TOTALLY DID
I am not afraid to admit that I also lost it when Chris sang "Love Me, Tender". That guy was HOT. (Not as hot as Taylor - he was always second fiddle to Taylor)
Not only did hearts melt, relaionships were torn apart, married women divorced their husbands out of the blue, The Gaza Strip and The West Bank said, "Really...this whole 'fighting' nonesense isn't a big deal - NOW SHUTUP! TAYLOR HICKS IS ADORABLE!"
This, by the way, is the number one most played song on my iPod. IT'S JUST SO DANM GOOOOOD!

You know, everytime some one would leave the show, Taylor would look like, "Oh I'm so very sorry to hear that" or whatever. But this time, his facial expression is like, "ELLIOTT! YOU ARE MY GUY LOVER AND MY BFFAE!!! DON'T LEAVE ME HERE WITH KATHERINE MCPHEE!!!!!!!!"
And what was twice as sad is the fact that the top three were all buddy buddy that night and HELLO?! TITTS (hehe) dancing with Kat and Elliott?! THAT WAS SO AWESOME!
Other than Kelly and Justin have he had such a kickass top two. I mean, I don't have the McPhever - but those two looked like they generally got a long pretty well. Where they BFB? I can't tell. But all their press photos are actually really cute.
OK, so the quality of that photo is terrible - but I have a feeling that whoever put it on the sight already edited it a ton to make it look like it wasn't taken with a cellphone camera (which I think it was)
WHO CARES?! THIS IS ONE OF THE COOLEST THINGS TAYLOR HICKS HAS EVER DONE!
